We are currently seeking a dedicated Library Systems Coordinator to join our team at the Office of Library and Information Resources. As the Library Systems Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our library systems and shared virtual reference services within The Community Solution Education System. Role Overview: Reporting to the Library Systems Administrator, you will thrive in this role if you have a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer support and possess strong problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to adapt seamlessly to a dynamic work environment. Responsibilities: Manage and address inquiries related to electronic resource access and other library services Engage in system-wide chat and virtual reference services Assist with processing interlibrary loan (ILL) requests Support the processing of Course Reading and Resources lists Maintain eResources website and relevant LibGuides Assist in collecting usage statistics Aid in invoice processing for electronic resource expenses Contribute to special projects and perform assigned duties as required Required Qualifications: Proven experience providing support in an academic library setting via various communication channels Proficient in utilizing online databases and search strategies Familiarity with integrated library systems (ILS) and associated services Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of ExLibris Alma, Primo, Rapido, and Leganto Experience with Discovery and Interlibrary Loan systems Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Strong analytical, technical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Basic understanding of library metadata standards and structures Proficiency in MS Excel and Access Ability to work independently and efficiently resolve problems Education and Certifications: Master of Library and Information Systems (MLIS) degree or equivalent experience and education Working Conditions: Remote Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a base compensation ranging from $55,000 to $57,500 annually. Additional compensation factors may affect total compensation.
